History of the Process
The parish Development Plan is to create a Parish which lives its Faith fully. It was launched on Pentecost Sunday 2005 and reported back to the Parish on the 9th October at the Parish Meeting. The driving force in the process were the Three Teams - covering Liturgy, Spiritual Growth and Reaching Out. But the whole Parish were encouraged to be involved.
The Steering Committee met for a successful meeting on Saturday 28th May 2005. The objective of the PDP is that we strive to become "a Parish which lives its faith fully". The Three Teams' first task was to compile an audit of what happens in the Parish at the time. From this a Parish Directory was published. Then they went on to suggest further ways of becoming a Parish that lives its faith fully. An interim report was produced in July and the Final Report was published in October 2005.
